Your child should bring home a book at his or her level on a regular basis. Take 20 minutes a day to read with your child, even if they say they have read the book already. There are additional tips below to support your child's reading in grades PreK through 3rd.

Parents can help by using the tools below with students after they read a book at their level. Students are more likely to make progress to higher reading levels once they are able to respond to higher level questions in writing about what they have read.
